These stations are generally far away from the city, remote locations, inconvenient in transportation, and small in scale. It is impossible to send people to work all the year round. For this, local monitoring systems are not required, but monitoring of the stations by the dispatcher should be guaranteed. For many box-type substations, iot getaway configuration is particularly suitable, because they are generally unattended, and is provided by a complete set of manufacturers, with fewer access devices, fixed models, and relatively fixed modes. Communication can be done very stably. IoT gateway makes it become a complete system as a communication device.
Some substations may be large in scale, requiring several IoT gateway to complete data collection. Most of them have local monitoring machines, and some stations on duty have local monitoring systems. The forwarding of dispatch generally has only one data channel or two channels that are mutually standby. In this case, the SPCM cascade server can be used. Local monitoring can directly obtain data from SPC communication, and can also obtain data from SPCM cascade server, which is better than SPC communication, so that the data is more complete and faster, and is not affected by SPCM cascade server.
